Everything you ever wanted to know about telephone exchange names like Klondike, Pennsylvania (as in 6-5000), and Sycamore. I've heard about these everywhere (especially in the song "Beachwood 4-5789"), but I always wanted to know how they came up with the names. There's a certain weird poetry to it.
