Jimmy Kimmel (who got a lot more uptight since apparently he started subbing on Larry King Live) vs. the girl from Gawker, a notoriously smarmy (and routinely witty) blog. Despite the comments on YouTube (which, like most YouTube comments, are moronic), I think this is really a case of old vs. new media. Does Jimmy really think that headline or that story constitutes slander? The headline right now on Gawker says "Larry Birkhead is our daddy, too"-- does anyone who actually visits that site think Birkhead has fathered their entire staff? Here's what Gawker has to say about the appearance. And apparently Jimmy Kimmel isn't completely averse to advertising on celebrity obsessed blogs-- he does it himself.
