A new episode! And so soon!
- One frame of fame per person in this music video.
- “Feet on the ground from far away” looks at some of the interesting ways we’re using Google Street View. One of those is this photographer’s survey of some of the interesting art Google’s automated cameras have shot.
- Oil drops can apparently navigate mazes. Wait until you hear my feeble attempt to explain how.
- People complaining of a tower that’s causing sickness in South Africa get a surprise during a public meeting. Honestly, I don’t think I did a great job of talking about this one, but it is a good story.
- In what order do you show the Star Wars movies to someone who’s never seen them? I’m sticking with 4,5,6,1,2,3.
- Finally, a cruise ship makes a stop in Haiti despite all that’s happening there, and I talk about the bigger picture of the virtual proximity that we seem to be cultivating online. I didn’t actually mention how you can help out Haitians, since I presume that you’ve either already heard how to do so or you’ve already done so, but just in case, go give some money to the Red Cross.
Thanks for listening! Enjoy the show!
